I spent well over a year looking for the perfect ring. In high street shops, on the telephone to the big names and on countless Internet sites. I now believe that was a total waste of my time. If only I had spent a fraction of those hours looking for Fiona Rae. Fiona took hours reading my e-mails and speaking to me. All done covertly so that Kate remained in the dark. What a result.
